Social Media Specialist

Zozimus is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Performance Marketing team. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, this position will be responsible for data analytics and reporting. That includes determining trends and insights and presenting the data findings to both internal and external personnel. Strong creative and analytical skills are pivotal in this role.

The ideal candidate will be a Facebook/Instagram platform expert and be responsible for creating monthly content calendar and organic content for clients that will help them meet their KPIs.


  • Support, implement and optimize our social media strategy
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns
  • Write and edit long and short form content and/or work with designers on visual content, optimized by platform
  • Determine effective audience engagement by auditing and analyzing the competition
  • Stay up to date on social media tools and best practices
  • Experience analyzing social media engagement data to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Recommend new innovate social channels to test that align to content strategy, target audiences, and expected business outcomes
  • Measure, analyze and report on the success of social media content and campaigns
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimization of social strategy, tactics and content in the context of the overall digital strategy
  • Using analytical tools such as Sprinklr, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, and Facebook/Instagram Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance


  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills are required
  • Experience working with designers and third-party agencies and vendors
  • Experience executing social media content strategy
  • Have a working knowledge of SEO and social media platform specific best practices
  • Results-oriented team player with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently, execute tasks efficiently, and be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational / time management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects, set priorities, and execute on tight deadlines
  • Attentiveness to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of work
  • Quick learner and self-starter
