Our agency philosophy is that the best branding always starts with clearly defining the “Why”—as in, “Why does this company exist?” When 451 Marketing was founded, we helped our clients grow their sales and awareness with brilliant digital marketing…hence the literary reference in our name to Ray Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451, which is the temperature at which paper burns. We used to say everything we were doing was too hot for paper. While this focus and formidable digital chops are still core to how we operate, we’ve evolved to deliver on so much more.
So, what is our new “Why”? Simply put, it’s to help our clients realize their dreams by offering a much broader suite of best in class marketing services.
Consequently, we needed a brand and name that reflected our new positioning while ideally giving a nod to the existing brand…that’s when we found Zozimus. Like 451, our new agency brand is derived from a literary reference. The word ‘Zozimus’ was invented and defined by famous British novelist Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, BFG, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, etc.) as “the stuff that dreams are made of.” We think it’s a perfect match for us.
